Hi, I am looking for some input on deck development. Here is what I have.
Fire Ba'al 8* +1, Metatron, Lantern, xmas Meru +1, Azrael, Ianos, Sun Quan.
Earth Salix 8*, cerberus,
Water Asmodeus +1, Mercury, Jiang ziya, ss Jeanne, Bacchus(will medal her)
Null Salix +2, Drake, Indun
I am doing pretty good on fire and water. I would like to develop earth but i'm thinking I should finish fire first by possibly getting NY Diarmuid?. Are there any other fire units I should consider? I am kind of at a loss as to where to start with earth, I assume Guna, should I get both versions? and possibly get earth Jeanne? I am considering abandoning any effort to develop Null and just medal everything. If I did that I could get 4 new plat units right away. any input would be appreciated.

Well, i'd say you don't need to get NY Diarmuid right away. If one of your union mates have it, you can leave it as an Assist. But it is a viable choice. Also, i'd suggest for you to get an Upier. while Azrael is good for RTTT and BOTB, Upier takes it's place on CTA and events like collecting. (a preemptive attack really helps saving time.) And of course, there's Pallas Athena. Resist to status ailments are always good for events like BOTB (God it was a suffering this last one. Ask everyone around the forum, it was unbearable without a Pallas or Melusine).
About the Earth Deck, there's plenty of ways you can go about it.
There's the poor man's way (my way), getting the Booster Guna, a core (usually i'd go with Ba'al, but there's people who favor Doll Idun, as well), and Hallow Salix, and add a good normal slice card for combo starter (there's Valentine Ara recently, with some good passives). I'd say this choice would be good for your deck, since you have Salix 8* (HP/Atk UP Passive). Just remember to put some good assists with passives and you should be fine. While this deck is not good for waveless events, there's a good replacement for Hallow Salix, Dagda (It triggers passives per turn, instead of waves), however, it'll take awhile for it to show up on the platinum exchange. Or instead of getting Hallow Salix, you can get Both Gunas and choose a slice combo starter. There's always the normal units, but i'd recommend you getting a Melusine for the same reasons of Pallas. Now there's also some good units, like OG Rudra (Slice, 50% chance of getting extra 2 attacks per turn), Iseult (Flurry, 2 attacks per turn 100%), and Ara (Multi, Adds an extra turn for every time it's active skill triggered on the turn before, good for BOTB) but i wouldn't recommend medalling for them. If you get them by luck, you can use them as temporary replacements.
Also, about Earth Jeanne, if you don't have a Gilles Remix (100% chance of hitting 44 hits with 1/44th of it's power before attacks starts) on your assist, it's worthless.
Another salvo, is your null set. You got Drake. While it ain't no close cigar to Laharl & Sicily 7*, you can still do good with it. Sure, you'd have to dedicate extra slots on your assist, i'd say all of them if you don't have a friend with a Djehuti, and two if you do. You can set some good sets with null nowadays. While you don't have much variety of normal cards for null, you can explore your options and of course, add a Ruprecht. If Salix doesn't fances you, and you'd like to build a full plat, there's Lamashtu (Enhances ATK/Skill Chance of friendly null units, just like Guna Hanami/Jack/Mercury). Also, there's Susanoo Festival (Highly underrated, if you allow me to say. It's unique is like Upier's, but she's a Multi/Rush. Also, it has Storm Strike Rush for it's first ability (It gives an extra attack for each of your cards), if abilities are your thing).

Just correcting myself above, i mean to say Ara is a Flurry, not Multi (She's a Multi/Rush), also Susanoo's first ability is Double Storm Strike, not Storm Strike Rush.

Hm. About it, every element has it's conveniences and disadvantages, but all of them have it's applications on all events. Null's main disadvantage is that you can't reap any elemental bonus, but it's main advantage is that playing with null is a no brainer. A well built null deck means that you don't need to juggle around with 2 or 3 decks. However, i left it as a salvo 'cause you already own two halfway built decks (Water/Fire). You can fully build those two decks and make it as effective as a null deck for the elements that it lack coverage. Building a null deck is only convenient if you don't have the coverage of two decks (what you do). I only presented the options.
Btw, last one's lacked any options for defense cards. Before you priorizing a third deck, it would be nice to add some good def cards. Fire is a great choice to start thinking about def decks. There's Aterui (15% of blocking damage and reflecting 50% of it to it's attacker), Fionn (40% to reduce damage received and stun it's attacker for 2 turns) and OG Gilles (40% chance of attacking back it's opponent after it's hit, + the attack inflicts ATK/DEF down on it's targets), that are frequently used on FF and CTA, and of course, there's the niches, like Bennu Plat (Bennu heals surviving allies and revive dead ones upon dying, so she's meant to die. People usually keep her on Lvl. 1), Gilles Christmas (Upon dying, inflicts HP Down on it's target and triggers it's skill, some people use it as a staller on last turn), and Zeruel (40% chance to launch opponents on the start of the wave. Really niche due to being a slice).
Surely there'll be cards that i'm missing, people who might be around for longer might help you with that. It might also help to skim through the cards on medal exchange. Good luck building your decks.
