I find that the descriptions for Platinum units' unique skills are not as clear as they could be, so that makes it kinda hard for me to understand if they make good support units. Most skills probably work the way they should, but some definitely don't. I've got a bunch of questions, and I hope some of you can help me out.
Questions about specific units:
Rudra/Isseult
Rudra's unique is a 50% chance at adding 2 extra actions at the start of turn. I assumed this meant that each turn, there's a 50% chance that I can attack with Rudra twice without knocking her out from the support unit line-up. However, I've only ever noticed the '2x' label on her at the beginning of battle, and it never refreshes. Does this mean that as a support unit, the 2 extra actions are guaranteed, but only once per battle? And is it also the case for Isseult as a support unit that there's only one extra action per battle, instead of one extra every turn?
Gilles de Rais
Gilles' unique is a 30% chance of procing after foe's turn, which sounds like she has a 30% chance of doing her multi attack after each enemy turn. I've since heard that she actually only has a 30% chance of doing her multi attack after an enemy turn where she took damage. If that's the case, she's a pretty useless support unit. Can someone confirm this?
Salix (Remix)
Salix's unique is increased atk/skill chance/hp if current deck has a flurry, a slice, and a pound unit. Does this hold true if she's used as a support unit? If so, does it check for a flurry, slice, and pound in the deck, or among the support units?
General questions:
Are the any other units that don't behave the way you would expect them to when they're used as support units? E.g. Does Bacchus stun both deck units and foes when used as a support unit?
Is there any way to pick a platinum unit as a support unit when you also own that unit? I understand that they want to prevent people from bringing two copies of a platinum unit into battle, but if I could take advantage of Merlin's barriers by using her as a support unit instead of using my own in my main deck, I'd really like to be able to do that!
That's what I've got for now. Feel free to ask questions back, I might be about to answer
