I wondered about Tamamo especially now that they added cerberus for ressurecting units, but it still seems like there're better partners.
Any thoughts on seien Taisei plat? She seems really niche. Good at reducing Ba'al's Earth plat bonus by dealing damage to the highest attack unit. Now with evoable salix she can't even do that.
I've Medaled OG Jeanne and Melusine. Not Because They're Bad, Or Anything Even Close. OG Jeanne Is Pretty Pointless When There's About 20 Alternatives But She's Not Bad, and Melusine Is Pretty Much Earth Sub-Meta.
Do I Regret Medaling Them? not even a little bit. Jeanne Bought Me Ampy, and Melusine Bought Me Remix Salix.

Seisei Is Pretty Good. She's Niche, Yeah, But So Are Most Plats. Gotta Think, With 50+ Platinum Units, They Can't All Possibly Be Meta. But Almost All Of Them Have Their Uses. Hell, Even Bacchus Has A Use If The Gods Of RNG Bless You. They Won't. But Hey, There's Always A Chance.

Poe won't be happy about it, but I medalled Daphne. She was the first plat I ever pulled, and I don't regret it for a second. Definitely don't recommend her to anyone, she's pretty bad in most types of events.
I've medalled 2xJormungand (pulled both), OG Jeanne, and Iseult because I just never used them and figured that I could get an actually useful defense unit instead. All of them are powercreeped, anyways, so it's unlikely I'll regret it in the future, especially when Iseult and Jorm's upgrades weren't that great.
As for worst plats, it's a general consensus that Bacchus sucks. As a defender she works against you since she boosts the enemy's ATK, and in deck you need to run a Cleanse like Etna & Flonne or Bethlehem to counter her friendly stuns. The ATK boost itself is pretty good, at ~30%, but you might as well just run Stella for the same/better if elemental advantage boost.

Cerberus doesn't actually "revive" the ally that's about to die, but instead heals them with their own health before they're considered dead. So units with death effects like Sarah, Tamamo, Xmas Gilles, and Komainu can't double dip with their Unique procs. Tamamo herself is decent in Fortress Frenzy, what with her Daji HP PP (which is only 1.1x boost, but it's something I guess), and if she takes out an enemy they can't avoid it with a reroll if they cleared the wave, as far as I know.
Seiten Taisei has a lot of HP, which is nice. You don't even need a Remix Salix+2 to protect Ba'al from being targeted, though, since Remix Salix base or HW Salix both have higher ATK than Ba'al. With a lot of people running Cao Cao+2 or Jack O' Lantern+2, though, she still has her uses.

Daphne Was Probably The Only Reason I Was Able To Farm Rift For Zaqqum. Not Because It Was Hard. But Because There Was Even The Slightest Chance That I Couldn't One Turn Her At Pure Base Stats And The Fight Might Take More Than 10 Seconds. Went A Lot Faster With Her, But She Wasn't Really Necessary To My Victory.
Only Time I Got Actual Use Out Of Her Was In CTA, Getting Extra Damage On The Higher Waves. But Again, That's Still Just Extra Insurance Of Speed, Rather Than Actual Necessity. She's Not That Good, All In All Β―\_(γ)_/Β― But She's A Waifu, And I Must Love Her.

Probably better to pair Cerb with other reflect/deflect units. Since Aterui is usually better off being skill boosted (R Salix, meru, etc), I'd probably run Cerb with Babbage/R Scathcach/ Baldr (?) and a filler plat. Cerb will be targeted first, so only chance to survive another turn is if the other units can resist some damage, as Cerb won't take effect when she's killed first.
As to other plats: OG Jeanne, Daphne (in most cases), Elisabeth, Jormungand, SS Nina, Bacchus, Remix Lilith, Balin, Isuelt & Rudra, Tamamo, Zairic & Tauvri, Ara, Fest Ampelus, Fortuna, Arthur, Prancer, V Nina, and Komainu.
All are usable, but none are worth making usable in most decks unless you have no better alternatives. Ex: if you run a water deck and need a manual charge burst and semi-reliable damage unit, stick with OG Jeanne. From that list, the ones that are essentially useless are Jormungand, Bacchus, Tamamo, Zairic & Tauvri, Ara, Fest Ampelus, Arthur, V Nina, and Komainu.
Jormungand - Rush active skill limits her to BOTB. Only time she can really be used is with Fire element bosses, and now any decent fire deck will still be more reliable. Even on water bosses, some fire/mixed decks are still better than other options.
Bacchus - Even if she works as well as she can (stun 3 enemy units while she is in defense) it's underwhelming. May do enough to be slightly annoying in KoF defense, but most likely not enough to stall, which is the ultimate goal.
Tamamo - With any halfway decent deck running Djehuti in deck or assist, 10% proc (after Djehhuti) with 1 chance to activate isn't reliable enough to be anything other than a filler. Though she'd be most effective if she killed a unit early, she can't earn a spot near the front of a defense deck, so hard to use even as a filler. Can be paired with Daji for a chance at a green pp, so might as well toss that in after NY Nina wave in defense since they'll burst anyway.
Zairic & Tauvri - I still haven't medaled yet, in hopes that she'll be reprinted and adjusted to remove effects of more than just 1 unit, but she has hardly any effect in deck. If she was able to remove effects of more units, she could be useful in countering revives. Until then, though, very underwhelming. With as many high damage fire plats as there are, she won't take a spot over many units. Her team atk buff is low (comparable to Bacchus) and won't make much of a difference. Ara - As with Jorm, rush only so limited to BOTB, but doesn't really do enough damage to be a factor. If she's all you've got in terms of potential damage units, go for it. Otherwise, stack manual bursts/element and atk type boosts to help out another mediocre damage unit. Ara's unique means shell provide more consistent damage, so even building up for one high damage burst is tough.
Fest Ampelus - Super underwhelming. At release, she appeared to be great, being able to block debuffs for herself and boosting her damage. Though neither of those is really effective enough to warrant bringing her. If paired with Xolotl, I suppose it would be nice to have Ampelus block debuff (stun) to herself and still be able to cleanse with Xolotl, but its just too difficult to build around her, when the upside is so minimal. Not a high damage unit for any build, even null specific deck.
Arthur - Her atk buff from heals (roughly 10% based on damage runs) isn't solid enough to earn a spot. I'd be extremely hard pressed to put her in assist, given the numerous units that are far more beneficial. I tried pairing her up with V Nina, and even that was rough. Guaranteed heals and damage boost from heals would be feasible with SS Ba'al or Laharl & Sicily, maybe, but takes too many slots in deck to be reliable. And if you've got SS Ba'al or (especially) Laharl & Sicily, there are many better options for setups. Arthur may help with basic scouting decks in KoF, but hardly helpful and even less essential, given how easy it is to build a scout deck.
V Nina - Just so there is no confusion, this is regarding the slice Platinum Nina, not the flurry Platinum Nina. Easy: heals are nice, guaranteed heals are better, but neither are required/effective for higher end KoF decks, when turns are all that matters. If you need heals in UvU, you'll need far more help than this Nina can provide. Refer to Arthur regarding pairing these two plats ^^
Komainu - Looks great on paper. In effect, garbage. Her passive (40% Team HP and Def Buff) is more useful than her unique, which does nothing at all to stall turns in KoF or much time in UvU. "What if I put Komainu in a wave before Zeruel? Can Komainu launch a couple units and Zeruel launch the rest at start of next wave?" No, unfortunately not. Komainu's units land before Zeruel will launch, so it will do some damage (an insignificant amount) but nothing to depend on.
As stated, some of those plats are still usable and effective, but with as many plats are available now, none of these are worth the effort in building up so they're effective. If you have these, no point in medaling unless you need medals to buy another plat, but certainly not worth buying unless you've got a strong need for the art/lore/etc.

Based on the damage runs I did, I did 3m with Arthur (with heal and bea proc) and 2.8m without (identical conditions). My acct partner was adamant that we needed V Nina, so I tried to make a deck that could utilize her and Arthur (thinking it would maximize the usability of both) but nothing that was worth using.
**Conditions if anyone is curious: final stage on Earth 7* Rift. Using Asmodeus for damage, with ability activated, beatrice proc for guaranteed active skill activations. Both decks ran these, only difference was Arthur in flurry assist when testing damage with her
Edit: I medaled Cao base. When I ran CaoCao+2 on another account, it seemed she was definitely worth using. But a base wasn't enough to run with/sub with Asmo. I ran damage numbers a long while ago, but would have trouble digging up. She's solid if you can build around her and is arguably worth building a deck around her, but isn't super easy to use.
My biggest frustration is Prancer. She is a big shoot. Maybe one day they fix her, but so far is the worst plat I tested. Fortuna at least is a vanity...

If it's working the way I suppose, the unit I'd combo with Arthur is Remix Dino. In about everything that's not BotB, you want to clear stuff in 1 turn, so having a 1-turn ATK-boosting burst heal that comes with standard ATK up and burst charge on a Flurry/Multi with Overdrive sounds much better than any kind of HoT combo.
I'm considering Arthur to replace the Grimm/Jeanne spot (yes I'm still using OG Jeanne as Overdrive bot in some events), but I think she would need +2 to be worth playing at all (second Water Cure All for on-demand boost), and that's better spent on Fire.
